In the month of June 2020, my country’s import of bearings used US$368 million in foreign exchange, an increase of 10.13% month-on-month, a year-on-year increase of 34.64% compared to June last year, and an increase of 26.47 percentage points compared with the increase in the previous month (8.17%). The number of imported bearings was 191 million sets, an increase of 3.74% month-on-month, an increase of 26.61% year-on-year from June last year, and an increase of 22.61 percentage points from the previous month's (4%) increase.

As of June 2020, my country's cumulative import use of foreign exchange was 1.907 billion US dollars, and the cumulative use of foreign exchange increased by 12.37% over the same period last year. An increase of 4.27 percentage points from 8.1% last month, 1.151 billion sets of imported bearings, an increase of 15.31% over the same period last year, and an increase of 2.02 percentage points from 13.29% last month.

From the perspective of imported bearing categories, the use of tapered roller bearings increased by 45.98% year-on-year, becoming the main force driving the import of bearings, followed by bearing parts, with a year-on-year growth of 25.3%, and other ball bearings with a year-on-year growth of 23.24%. The use of roller bearings increased by 15.39% year-on-year, and the use of spherical roller bearings increased by 13.73% year-on-year. It is not difficult to see that under the new situation, the structure of the bearing market is undergoing great changes.

From the point of view of importing countries, the foreign exchange use from Japan reached 490 million U.S. dollars, ranking first, with an increase of 4.61% year-on-year, and the second was Germany. The foreign exchange used for imports was 420 million U.S. dollars, ranking second, but the growth rate reached the second. 28.31%. Surprisingly, the foreign exchange for imported bearings from Taiwan, China reached US$137 million for the first time, ranking third, with a year-on-year growth of 346%. It shows that with the adjustment of my country's economic structure, the market of bearing importing countries is also undergoing major changes.
